GitHub Universe 2025 - San Francisco
“Sometimes you just have to ask”. I’m heading to GitHub Universe 2025 in San Francisco (Oct 28–29) on a fully comped ticket!
A few months back, I reached out about student passes, and Michelle Patton at GitHub made it happen. Beyond grateful.
Last year’s Universe unveiled multi-model Copilot, powered by Claude, GPT-4, and Gemini. Having the freedom to choose models truly reshaped my workflow, especially during multi-file refactors. That feature alone changed how I approach context-switching in code.
This year, I’m curious to see how agent capabilities evolve beyond the IDE, moving toward systems that collaborate across pull requests and entire repositories. That shift feels genuinely transformative.
I’ll be around the AI and DevEx tracks and the partner floor. If you’re attending, drop a comment or DM. Let’s connect.
